CORVID 19….update

Here I am sitting at my paying career waiting for something… Anything to happen. Seems like the world has stopped, and this concerns me. Yes, just like you, I am all wrapped up in coronavirus gossip. I don’t watch the news, but I do read headlines and you can not get away from talk of this “deadly” virus. What is the world coming to when you are scared of something that will most likely never affect you or your family’s health. Yes some people will get very sick, and yes sadly, some will be taken from this earth. However MOST of you will go on with your life, unaffected by this disease.

I have spoken with many people about our situation and I see a very disturbing trend. The world is only focused on the total population affected and the total deaths. 2 very scary topics. But think about this for a second. 99% of contagious people fully recover quickly, in about a week. 99% success is what we should be focusing on. Why so much attention to a measly 1%? Because FEAR brings viewers to tv. And viewers equals higher advertising profits.

Your brain is hardwired to seek out negativity and react to it. Negativity releases Serotonin in your brain which makes you think you’re happy, however you are just addicted. Yes, you are designed to become addicted to negativity and fear because your brain thinks you like it. (the negativity bias)

I seldom watch the news. It is one of the worst things people do with their free time. Sunday I was channel surfing and stopped on a cnn or fox type of station. In BIG, BOLD, RED, BLACK and YELLOW eye grabbing script across the top of the screen was a scorecard, or scoreboard counting confirmed cases and deaths. The announcer scrambling for words because there is no actual current news on this subject. So the entertainers, the announcers start showing deaths and confirmed cases by country. It seemed like I was watching the NFL of diseases. The news anchors or entertainers were like cheerleaders encouraging you the viewer to stick around and hear about sickness and death. Keep viewing so that we keep collecting advertising dollars. I had to stop watching, you should too.

I can’t imagine the fear that people are living with if they watch more than five minutes of that “news” nonsense. I am hoping you stop watching the news right now, and instead, after reading this of course, go outside and breathe deeply through your nose. Experience how good the outdoors makes you feel. Actually breathing through your nose is one of the easiest ways to combat viruses. Your nose (not your mouth) is designed to regulate breath temperature and humidity, it filters toxins, it assists in heart functions and brain activity. All of that and more happens when you breathe through your nose.

However, nose breathing will stop many viruses and bacteria from entering your body. Mouth breathing lets all the bad right into your body.

Ok, your chances of contacting this latest virus is about 1% more likely than catching the flu. Do you hoard food and toilet paper every flu season? Then why are you hoarding supplies for a mear 1% higher chance of contacting corvid 19? If you never play the lottery and you will have a 1% higher chance of winning, would that make it worthwhile to bet your house and buy a ticket? Probably not. If you had a 1% higher chance of surviving a 14 story fall, would you jump? No of course not. What if you had a 1% chance of winning a bet, would you lay down all your money, your entire life savings, on a 1% chance of success? Not if you’re smart. Here lies the problem. We are focusing only on the negative. Which is making us react to the lowest common denominator, which is fear of the unknown 1%.

We should not be focusing on the negative slim possibilities of contracting a disease. We NEED to focus on the positive facts that you most likely WILL NOT be affected by the virus. You have a 99% chance of survival if you do contract the Coronavirus.

Throughout history philosophers have taught that “we are our thoughts”, “what you think about, we bring about”.

Our collective minds are focusing on a 1% increase in a disease that has a 99% success rate of failing to kill us.

If we collectively begin focusing on the 99% successful healing rate, the 90% rate of people who will not get the flu, the 99.9% successful recovery rate of “regular” flu victims, we would shift public opinion to a more positive outcome. Fear breeds hysteria. Confidence that the odds are on my side are not only liberating, but also brings positivity and happiness to my life. As in “no worries”. Confidence in the positive numbers, the 99% success rate is what alleviates my fear. It should eliminate your fears of coronavirus as well. Be fearless and face life head on. If you’re scared of a 1% chance of something bad happening, you need to re-examine your beliefs, and look for and focus on the positives. This current pandemic has more positives than negatives, however the media is not publicizing it.

My goal with this post is to alleviate some of your fear over something you have no control over. So please focus on the positive facts… Only 10% of the population gets the flu, and less than 1% will get coronavirus. 98.5% of patients recover in about a week. 90% of us will not have our health affected by this virus or the flu, but 100% of us are being affected by the FEAR and PANIC that the media is creating!

✌️ 💚 😁

In 2004, having fallen and fractured my spine, I began a slow death spiral as an addict to legal opioids. For the next eight years, I battled depression and stomach ulcers. At the end of every month, I would face withdrawal symptoms, as well as the fear of running out of medication.      At one point, I was prescribed 1080 total pills every month! More than half were opioids, while the rest were prescribed to fix the problems opium was causing.      In 2012, I was rushed to the emergency room with bleeding ulcers. This happened again in 2014. I had lost almost 40 pounds during this time period. I was killing myself.      One night at the end of the month in 2014, I was facing imminent withdrawal sickness. Let me tell you: withdrawal sucks! I was not eligible for a refill but I needed the drugs. I grabbed a gun and went to a nearby pharmacy. I sat outside that store for about an hour. Finally, I decided that the best thing I could do would be to break away from the addictive drugs. I went home, went through some withdrawal sickness, and started planning my strategy.      It took me another two years to successfully get free. Eleven years after beginning my journey with opioids, I was able to beat the addiction through the use of medical marijuana, changing to a mostly natural-food diet, focusing on positivity and gratefulness, and getting outside in nature. I have been pharmaceutical free since 2016      Over several years of extensive research, I learned that medical marijuana could help with eliminating opioid addiction while reducing withdrawal symptoms and providing natural pain relief. I discovered that there was proven science backing up marijuana as medicine. I researched cannabis and hemp: their uses, benefits, and side effects, and how cannabinoids help the human body create homeostasis naturally, without side effects, addiction, or overdose issues.       As a master grower, I was aware of plant nutrient needs, and I realized that they are very similar to human nutrient needs. I began researching fruits, vegetables, and herbs extensively. Learning that nature provides all the nutrients a body needs. Consuming a variety of organic foods everyday will keep your body in a perfect state to fight off disease. As my body healed I was able to focus on my mind as well. You must; get your body right, to get your mind right, to get your life right.       I have also studied many current and historical positive thought mentors. Learning that, "we are what we think we are", as well as negative thoughts attract negative things, and positive thoughts attract positive outcomes.       I combined all of this knowledge to devise my theory on; The Three Life Centers of the body. Keeping these three areas balanced will keep your life balanced.      Medical marijuana helped reduce my drug withdrawal symptoms, enabling me to eliminate opioids, and I credit it with saving my life..      Because of my success eating and medicating naturally, maintaining positivity and gratitude, while embracing nature, I decided that I wanted to help educate others, and assist them with their own health and life issues.      I've been an advocate for medical marijuana legalization since 2014. I have lobbied senators, traveled statewide to speak on behalf of the cannabis community, and appeared in local forums, to share my journey and bring people's awareness to the benefits of medical marijuana, natural dieting, and positivity.       With this website, my goal is to dispel some myths, while educating you on a plant that has numerous health benefits (cannabis). Simplify your diet to achieve balance and good health through nature. Help you to create an environment of positivity and gratitude, and encourage you to get outside experience nature. I will even share some hidden gardening tips.
